Adopt a Boxer / Mixed (short coat)

Jasmine is one of those once-in-a-lifetime dogs. You know, the cool kind...the kind you always saw in the movies and wanted when you were growing up. The one that would stay right by your side without a collar and leash, the one that would ride shotgun in your jeep with you. The one that would growl when a stranger walked up to your car, so that they would know she would protect you fiercely. The one that would always throw you that intense look over her shoulder as she was walking away to let you know that she will always be your dog. The one that would stare intently into your eyes when you were crying, and then stick her tongue out to catch a tear. Jasmine is that kind of girl....loyal, smart, wise, an old soul. And she was never appreciated. She was left under a trailer...to eat rocks. And she got demodox which marred her skin and fur ...and she got heartworms, which weakened her heart. But even all of that didn't stop her from being the coolest dog ever, it just disguised her from the diamond that she really is.  Jasmine was the only dog left behind in the AD kennel section of Hillsborough County Animal shelter during "Clear The Shelter Day". Everyone else in that area was adopted but her. She just sat there patiently waiting. She knows what she is worth. 4 Lucky Dogs saw the beauty beneath her scars and took her in and now Jasmine is in the last phase of her heartworm treatment and her demodox has all been treated.  She is back up to a healthy weight and is waiting for her moment to shine. Jasmine loves everyone she meets and almost all dogs. It is unknown how she is with cats. She is a Boxer mix and is approximately 4 yrs old.
